Sanjana Vijay Vaidyanathan began her career as a Research Associate at McKinsey & Company. After spending ~a year in consulting, Sanjana moved to LEAD by Krea where she spearheaded the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation project to understand the access to capital and its impacts, especially in the MSMEs in rural India. She then served as the Head of CSR at a multinational chemical manufacturing company where she managed a budget of $100,000 annually – helping improve access to healthcare, education and clean drinking water to rural communities in South and West India.
After spending over 2 years setting up and scaling the CSR function, she moved to Villgro, a social impact VC where she managed the entire investment cycle for the inclusive livelihoods vertical, right from evaluation to post-investment portfolio management.
Sanjana is currently pursuing her MBA from Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
